Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.5/100, a mean average of 70.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.2.

Typical McCarttney album. Some catchy tunes but ultimately forgettable.

A solid late Macca. Not as good as Chaos and Creation, by a longshot, but there's some strong material that stands up to anything from that album. It's just that there's also some tracks I don't like very much. However, it's still an enjoyable listen, and with songs like Mr Bellamy, Ever Present Past and Only Mama Knows, has enough good tracks to make it so.

Not quite as good as some claim. It's okay, but personally I miss the loosness of the, chaos and creation, album. Mr. Bellamy, is a great McCartney track though. Unfortunately, dance tonight, is the kind of crap that Paul sometimes thinks is good music, but is actually one of the worst things he's ever done. Christ, I've got better songs than that.

The first 6 tracks are good and the track "End of the End" also stands out. The rest of this album is o.k. Not great but not bad.

I haven't listened to the whole album but the tunes I've heard like Only Mama Knows and Dance Tonight are pretty good.

Starts off good and loses momentum but to be honest would get positive approval if it was anyone else but PM - his legacy is so formidable, few have done as much and been as successful, his best work is legendry.
