I hear a lot of sinister sounds on this album, menacing even. You expect to hear that on a live show where the impending apocalypse fills the people with adrenaline, but not on an album. I don't know, it doesn't sound genuine.
The Chemical Brothers stole their whole concept with Come With Us, but to call that "influence"...
