"One of my favorite albums of all-time. To me, this is pretty much the ideal combination of synth-pop and indie rock. Jenny Was a Friend of Mine is one of my favorite opening tracks of all-time. Fueled by an incredibly catchy bassline and a loud and powerful chorus, this got me hooked on the Kille..."  [+]  Reply

"I'm not really a fan of Deep Purple, but this is undeniably one of the greatest hard rock records ever. That opening riff on Smoke on the Water is one of the most instantly memorable riffs of all time and Highway Star is the ultimate fast car/hot chicks anthem. Throw in a beauty like Space Trucki..."  [+]  Reply

"cant remember the last time i liked an album this much on the first listen. Lots of really creative song writing, good chord progressions, experimental rhythms, good backing vocals, everything to like."  Reply

"Well badfaith, I don't think this album would have been forgotten. It is just cast down in the shadows of The Dark Side of the Moon, and The Wall. This is their first album, and Syd Barrett created (what I think is one of Floyd's best) "Interstellar Overdrive." He had a good sense of Br..."  [+]  Reply

"I was 13 when this album came out. My foster parents were in their 40's and mostly dug soft rock and folk (like Sting, James Taylor, Bruce Cockburn, etc...) This was our common ground. It's an album everyone can love."  Reply

"Band on the run, is quite rightly regarded as Paul McCartney's best album. You may prefer other records but, band on the run, has got to be the best. It's a thoroughly consistent album from start to finish, every song is potentially a highlight. The title track and, jet, are two of McCartney's be..."  [+]  Reply

"Many people seem to forget about this album. At the first listen, this album seems tediously long and overdone, with five instrumentals (counting Fish) and long songs with seemingly random transitions and bridges. However, after many listens, this album slowly turns into an instantly recognizable..."  [+]  Reply

"There's a lot of hate for Coldplay, a lot of times deserved. They've sold out hard since de mid-00s but nevertheless I will defend this album to death. Yeah, it's nothing groundbreaking and it's cheesy as hell, but there's some dumb honesty and simplicity underneath it all I simply enjoy a lot. I..."  [+]  Reply
