What can I say about this little fellow? "Subterranean Homesick Alien" always alienate me with its otherworldly atmosphere. "Karma Police" has always bugged me with its similarity to "Sexy Sadie". "Fitter Happier" has a creepy background to support the strange gimmick of the robot voice. A cool track, not a bad one. To sum up, "OK Computer" is more than just an okay computer.

Every time I listen to this album, I imagine sitting in the park on the album cover just hanging out. The atmosphere is gorgeous throughout, alternating between soulful ballads and groovy, funky neo-psychedelic stuff. The album is best described as a bittersweet symphony.

Overheated coke-paradise. "All Around the World" is so long that one might wonder if it's a joke or just Oasis that have completely lost the plot. Either way, I love its exaggerated layer upon layer composition. The whole album is overwhelming, but in a good way.

More musical honey from Mariah Carey. She's still as innocent as a butterfly, but spreads her wings musically by adding new fresh R&B influences, something that would get a bit out of hand on subsequent albums. Close your eyes and listen to another piece of beauty by Mariah Carey!

Not totally unlike a lot of electronic/ambient/new age with female vocals out there, perhaps more strange and hypnotic. Enchanting, but with a dark twist!
Favourite tracks: "Wisdom" & "'Til the End of Time" [First added to this chart: 01/27/2018]

How does if feel to be lost in a misty forest? Kinda like this! With hypnotic techno rhythms! You sense a certain something lurking behind the trees, but you don't know what. Either a supernatural presence or just a good old-fashioned murderer about to take place!

Ibiza trance and very isolated from any maddening crowds... borders so much on pure ambient music that even when there are beats you could still easily doze off in the sun!

The vanishing point of music, music so out there that no one has even imagined something like it before! Okay, maybe it's not that strange, but it definitely belongs among the most experimental Primal Scream albums, if not the most experimental. Mystic and electronic, the kind of mood that would fit a dark trip on the subway perfectly. Yet another time totally scraps Primal Scream as a rock band after the straightforward "Give Out But Don't Give Up"!

Fuel your fire with this firestarter. Less euphoric than "Music for the Jilted Generation", but with more punch and diesel power. Great funky shit!

A bit more oceanlike and serene than previous two 2002 albums. One can think of it as the musical equivalent to the sound of a conch shell.
