Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. It's hard to choose the best Pink Floyd album, and I agree that Animals is a masterpiece. Overall, I liked your top 100. Special mention goes to Heroes of Silence, GNR, and António Variações.

Love your chart! Really interesting choices, plenty I haven't heard but plenty in common with my chart. Must check out some of those Spanish and Potuguese artists you have here. Disintegration is definitely worthy of number 1.
