End of phase one of their career: feverish, intense, demonic even. It riskily opens with "The Mercy Seat" and, miraculously, the next nine tracks don't disappoint.

The one before "Tender Prey" (also recorded in Berlin). Almost as fantastic. This is clearly a work in two parts: "Your funeral" is rather subdued, "My trial" is more... manic.

Not catchy but definitely worth exploring. There's something about the flow of the songs (appropriate given the "watery" theme) that is just so right.
