I like a lot of your choices, but Backspacer the 2nd greatest album ever? While it's a good album, I can think of 4 or 5 by Pearl Jam alone that are better.

You've overestimated Dream Theater,check Porcupine Tree(if you haven't yet),i think you'll enjoy their works.
