This album carries an aura with it that few albums have. I used to be way more into Zeppelin but every time I feel like going back to Zeppelin this is what comes to mind for me to listen to. Start to finish almost a flawless albums. Four Sticks falls flat a bit, but the high points here are too high for me to give a shit.

Maybe the greatest first half to a double album I've ever heard. So strong and full of groove. I love this album because JPJ and Bonzo shine so bright. Plant's vocals start to sound pretty different here but they still fit the music quite well.
