These simple songs sung by Marty Robbins are always uplifting to hear, and they prove that an album doesn't have to be revolutionary, complex, or prestigious to be an eternal classic. After listening to all other supposedly transcendent albums, the ears need to simply relax and enjoy a lovely afternoon. Marty Robbins comes out on top in my book, because less is more. No other musician has been able to make such uplifting and memorable music with so little complexity. [First added to this chart: 02/22/2017]

A magnificent work of sheer inspiration. Vividly imaginative, memorable, and musically revolutionary. The Beach Boys bowed their heads in shame for a reason. [First added to this chart: 02/22/2017]

Every single track The Beatles wrote for their concluding album is a memorable masterpiece that has withstood the test of time. Brilliant melodies, creative instrumentation, revolutionary innovation (AGAIN, from The Beatles), and unexpected eruptions of beautiful harmony. Abbey Road could have been made and released in our modern day, or at any point in the future, and still be just as excellent and creative—THAT is why it's the best Beatles album. Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli created the marriage of guitar and violin in jazz, and their talent is still unmatched. Django may very well be the greatest guitarist in history, especially because he only had two useable fingers on his left hand. This very long, absolutely excellent jazz album is unmatched; its awe-inspiring to hear their talent and innovation. [First added to this chart: 02/22/2017]

This album truly broke through the boundaries of everything music has been chained to for all time. The listener is taken through an unexpected journey of beautiful, completely unique sound that emerges out of what sounds at first like just noise. [First added to this chart: 02/22/2017]

This union of Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree and Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth is undeniably the work of the divine. Storm Corrosion is distinctly unique in mood and instrumentation, producing the most depressing and alarming of sounds whilst merging it with the most beautiful music your ears can imagine. In the same way that Marty Robbins' Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs is somehow magically uplifting and enjoyable, Fleet Foxes brightens your day. Their sound isn't quite like anything else I've heard, combining folk, progressive rock, and medieval bard music. [First added to this chart: 03/14/2017]

Very diverse chart! I think we share the same tastes to a degree; we should get together sometime!
