I have a very wide appreciation for music, but I'm not sure how anyone can rate this band poorly. The careful construction of melodies and thought provoking lyrics create an amazing listening experience. They are definitely in my top 5, and could be my favorite band on any given day.

Every Tool member is at the top of their game. Innovative music, not a single bad record and some of the most memorable basslines and riffs and even skillful drumming you will ever hear and of course, Maynard's lyrics which can be as introspective as you can possibly get and sometimes he can troll the hell out of anything with his twisted sense of humor. Tool is the perfect balance between being able to play thoughtful, interesting music and still being entertaining as hell. Tool is one of the greatest bands ever.
One of the all time greatest bands ever. I love everything they've done and i'm listening to the new album now after that 13 year wait.
