Car crashes, fireworks, detuned and retuned strings....it must have been a great time making this album. Sister and Daydream Nation embellished on the work. There’s a mixture of sound collage and true songwriting here by every member of the band that results in the group achieving something they hadn't before. There's poetry and spoken word sections leading to beautiful instrumentals. The retuned guitars makes this sound so distinct, from the first chord on Tom Violence to the echoing knocks on Madonna, Sean, and Me. [First added to this chart: 06/13/2020]

This is a pretty chilled chart. I don't know a copy of artists so will check them out. Sigur Ros number 1 is a great choice and sets the tone. There is a smattering of heavy stuff to give a nice balance

I appreciate your sentiment in the description - I'd much rather a personal chart than someone trying to appeal to some false sense of "objectivity" in art, and as a result your chart is quite interesting. You're at a level to add 10 more, so I'd be interested to see what those were. You also could reach out a bit more into the last decade, since there have been a lot of great musical accomplishments recently. Overall, though, it's an excellent chart. "Heroes" as Bowie's best album is an interesting opinion, one I respect for sure (though don't personally agree with).
