I love Baby's on fire. I first heard Marc Riley doing a cover of it and searched out the original.

This has I'm in love with a girl and September Gurls. Of course it is in the best of 1974.

You have to have this album in vinyl with the gatefold sleeve. The cover artwork is amazing.

This album sees Can having to survive without Damo Suzuki on vocals. They carry it off with some aplomb. Great album.

All of Leonard Cohen's earliest albums are amazing. This is just a great album. Chelsea Hotel No2 is such a good song.

Third Uncle was covered by Bauhaus before I heard Eno do it. I prefer Eno's version, but have a listen to Bauhaus doing it because you will be pleasantly surprised.

Once again it was a Top of the Pops appearance that drew this band to my attention. Ron Mael was so weird to this 9 year old boy. I had to buy the single the next time my mum and dad took me to Andover.

The 7" version of the title track was perfect in length, but the album version allows the band to explore more ideas.
