However, after rather compulsively listening to this album for a number of months, I continue to be taken in by ..."  [+]  Reply

"The first Mastodon album I got into, and still by far my favourite. It's the heaviest album I've listened to that I still absolutely, wholeheartedly enjoy. It's like watching the movie 300. Somehow, despite all the blood and brutality, it still manages to keep a sense of majesty, and the dark, gr..."  [+]  Reply

"The 2010’s have been a particularly rough decade for Indie Rock and Rock in general. It’s been easy to become weary of UK/US artistes with nothing interesting to say no matter how many ideas are thrown at the wall. Cometh the hour, cometh the man and the most engaging and idiosyncratic frontman i..."  [+]  Reply

"Garbage's "version 2.0" built off of what they did on "1.0". It's a sum of the parts of 3 tech-savvy studio producers, guitars and shirley's snarl. "special" is the standout track, but other hits include "i think i'm paranoid", "push it" and "when i grow up". The non-hits are a little better than..."  [+]  Reply

"Another good Bob Marley. I still think the live version of, no woman,no cry, is far superior, and by it's inclusion on the, legend, compilation it's obvious others agree. Still some other fine songs to be found here in, so jah seh, lively up yourself, and the title track. Great laid back grooves."  Reply
