Top 100 Music Albums of 1969
by Moondance
1969 - the year of Woodstock & landing on the Moon. It would be a few more years before Woodstock would play a formidable part of my musical landscape ~ but once I got my head around that incredible music festival, it captivated me ~ and still does to this day.
This is the year I turned 13 and started high school - a bit of a culture shock ~ but the friendships I would make at Blacktown Boys High School over the next 4 years would be central to the music I discovered & loved and also to the beginnings of my own singer/songwriter journey.
My favourite year of the 60's and my overall 11th most favourite year of the 66 years between 1960 - 2025.
