"Released in 1980, 'Underwater Moonlight' is an album that has stood the test of time remarkably well and still sounds fresh and inventive. Reminscent of the work of Television and Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd, the band manage to straddle the early new-wave of the former and the psychedlic whimsy of..."  [+]  Reply

"Barely saved from the doom of oblivion thanks to the band's international name and its singles, this album is horribly weak for me. I am not able to listen to the whole Juicebox song without hating myself and the bassist of this band. However, Razorblade is an amazingly fun song, and YOLO is... w..."  [+]  Reply

"Don't believe all the negativity on this. For my money this is a very very good album. From top to bottom it really holds up. "Gravity" is a highlight, unbelievable blues guitar there. "Vultures" and "I Don't Trust Myself With Loving You" have a very well executed soul/funk sound with excellent g..."  [+]  Reply

"I rate the UK version of this album as their third best of the sixties after Let it Bleed and Beggars Banquet. Despite losing Satisfaction, Play with Fire and The Last Time I just feel the UK version flows better. Some of the replacements aren't too shabby anyway...Heart of Stone, Gotta Get Away ..."  [+]  Reply

"A wonderfully crafted collection of songs that really deserve a lot more love than I see them receive. Every song on here possesses something that you will enjoy and every track is at least good if not better. Their build up is sensational and they really allow every song to properly breathe whic..."  [+]  Reply

"Forever thankful for this album because it got me into electronic music. Personally to me it is one of those moments where you are like "Wow I didn't know music can sound like this". Objectively speaking, this album does have flaws and has some filler tracks mostly because CC just wanted to put o..."  [+]  Reply

"A very pleasant album. The instrumentation is lush and diverse and the melodies are blissful. At times the lyrics are kind of iffy and some songs overstay their welcome a tad, but its forgivable because as a whole this album is a beautiful experience."  Reply

"It is as if the limitations of the English language are a barrier on this album, because there is so much weight and significance put on every syllable of every word, and it still doesn't feel enough. You have to listen to this with the same intensity as Mike puts into it to get on the same wavel..."  [+]  Reply

"This is insanely good, revelatory even. Black Thought at his best since early Roots, Danger Mouse providing a very clean and modern take on classic beats, and a star studded list of features, each proving why they need to be included rather than being shoved in with nothing to do. Aquamarine is t..."  [+]  Reply

"I'm still listening to this, so I'll update this review in a little while, but Weyes Blood has been slowly working on her craft over the years and is working herself into the generational pantheon. A contemporary artist making "classic" songs is rare, so I'm sure the anti-pop elite of this site s..."  [+]  Reply
