The first half sits comfortably next to Nevermind, if somewhat less essential. The second half is weaker than the low points of bleach. Then it finishes with one of their best track. (Edited)
Nirvana's scraps are another band's feast!
It's a GREAT odds & sods collection with tons of amazing tracks including those great Vaseline covers. Incesticide is like a great radio station that occasionally misses, but mostly plays great fun tracks that are perfect for driving around in the car.
In the same vein and level of skill as their debut Bleach. A bunch of throwaway songs that lack even the smallest effort for melody and hook.
It's just loud and impossible to understand a word. Yay
Loyal Nirvana heads will eat it up but not made for anyone else.
And a second point, why do this? You are 2 albums in--- how about focusing on making an actual catalogue of not throwaway songs since the catalogue is so small to this point.

If you think Nevermind is too glossy, but Bleach is too raw. Incesticide is Nirvana set to “just right.” (Edited)
If you're a real big Nirvana fan (as i am) you should really check this out for songs like Aneurysm and Sliver. However it is inferior to almost all Nirvana records. Good overall.
