Simply the perfect album. Not only new songs, but a new genre. Sounds even better 52 years on. They were so good everybody wanted to be in The Band. This album [plus the debut & the 3rd] shows why.

The first box set I ever bought in 1994. So excited to get it, along with the VHS Video at the time. Five hours of just the best rock music. Yes, even Disc 4.

His Divorce Album, and if you've been through it, you can relate to every line. Not an easy listen but it lets your emotions out and surely thats what music is all about.

What can you say that hasn't been said. This is the perfect Rock record. Everything in the right place. For a group supposedly imploding at the time, their output is nothing short of exceptional quality and beauty.

Love this album. Very underrated. Great personal songs. In Times Like These & The Jarrow Song are great, but the title track [both versions] takes the honours. Could've been on John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band. Often reduces me to tears.
