The first album I moved into my bedroom from my parents' record collection. Their collection was almost entirely terrible (Jim Reeves, James Last, etc...), but this gem was in there. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]

This was the other album I stole from my parents' record collection. I eventually found another copy of it and returned their copy to them. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]

I love this album. The musicianship is scary. The songs just sound right. I really wasn't expecting this after hearing one of my mates introduce me to his music with A Sense of Wonder. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]

His was the Velvet's album I hoped my son would love the most. It is so challenging. Sister Ray gets a lot of deserved praise, but I love I Heard Her Call My Name especially when Cale knocks over the pile of chairs in the studio. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]

I have seen Simeon reproduce a lot of this album live. He had a hand-built pile of electronics. It wasn't the original Simeon machine. He tweaked oscillators to make an amzing sound. It was a great night that gave me a clearer insight into how he made this album. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]

This is the one that started it all off. They don't change much over the next few albums. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]

I really like this album. It is very different from the first two albums, but you can still tell that it is the 13th Floor Elevators. [First added to this chart: 07/07/2012]
