This is probably the most important album ever. Without it so much would not have happened. Where would post-punk be without this album. My record collection would be so different.

Not so sure about We Will Fall. Sometimes I love it, but others I just skip onto the incredible No Fun.

How can a song be so good that it gets a committed atheist to sing "Jesus, help me find my proper place" out loud in the streets of Arbroath? Fantastic album.

I recently saw Toots playing the same old songs at a FREE concert in Blackburn. Rain had washed off the free festival in the park, so Toots was moved to the small stage at King George's Hall. What a great night. He played a number of tracks from this, including the title track.

I love the cover. I had a mate that was taken in by the Paul is Dead cult. He used to talk for minutes at a time about how this cover proved that Paul was dead. "Look at the number plate!"

Eonard Cohen is perfect for listening to when you are a teenage boy needing a break from PIL or The Fall. Great songs with wonderful lyrics about what I wanted to be doing.
