George Harrison had a song on each side of the original vinyl album. With these two to represent him, he didn't need another. Both "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun" became huge pop hits, which was quite amazing in a band that had Lennon & McCartney as the main songwriting duo. Lennon & McCartney's "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" was a hypnotic eight minute guitar excursion. Side two is an incredible trip, making it a great album all around. It wasn't their final album contribution to the music world, but it should have been. I love this record. [First added to this chart: 08/12/2021]

The twin to "Rubber Soul," they could have been released as a double record set. "Revolver" is probably the better of the two, but it's often a difficult pick to make. They're excellent Beatles' albums, and both open the door to a more sophisticated era in the career of the Fab Four. [First added to this chart: 08/18/2021]

Liked seeing some outliers like Isakov. Would have liked to see at least 1 album (preferably more) from outside North America or British Isles.

Really love your chart! Although you have very similar tastes to mine overall, there are plenty in the rock/blues genres here I haven't heard yet so I must check them out. Took me on a journey. Definitely heavily 70s, but I'd agree it is the best decade for music hands down.

Lots of good albums here. I just started listening to "Home Plate" and also been getting into Steely Dan recently. The music is a good feeling to me!
