Numerous music publications have this ranked within the top 10, some within the top 3 of the greatest albums ever made. It's been called The Beach Boys Sgt Pepper. Been curious for many years so grabbed this when the chance arose. My overall thoughts; I don't get it. There's others that are on those lists that I understand why. Sgt Pepper, Dark side of the Moon etc. But with this I can't see it. I've got the magazines which these lists are in and it's always quoted Brian Wilson was an absolute genius to be able to create this. I must be missing something but then, what the fuck do I know. I just listen. Maybe it's to do with the harmonies they do so well. Not saying it's bad. It's quite alright. Just no cigar from me, that's all. 01/25
