88.57* Side 1 (first 4 songs) on this is close to perfection. Bit disappointed with the title track but as a whole this is the ultimate psychedelic album. Cementing Floyd as unique game makers. Fucking gold. 03/25 [First added to this chart: 09/11/2021]

80.09* The Doors studio albums are phenomenal due to the constant high caliber of them all. They are all great. However, I do find this is one not quite as great as others. But still great nevertheless. The Doors are great. 06/25 [First added to this chart: 05/13/2023]

80.08* This is noted as the first ever rock opera album to be released. One year before 'Tommy' that most people think holds that title. First few tracks set the tone, then it just keeps getting better. This is one that I think has a classic psychedelic sound to it. Great album Very stoked to have tracked down a physical copy. 05/25 [First added to this chart: 09/11/2021]

80.00 Different sounding Deep Purple of course with Rod Evans on vocals. Could be mistaken for a completely different band. On saying that, it's still a great album. Bit more mellow than the rock beast they were to become. Few covers but I think they do them fine. More folk rock than the hard rock of MKII but still a worthy listen. 76.375* This album took a long time and multiple listens before it all clicked. It took a while to look past the track "Beside You" that put me off as I find it jazzy avant-garde rubbish. That was enough to soil my view of the whole album. Looking past that though, all other tracks are superb. The lesson learned was don't write certain albums and music off quickly, as sometimes it can take a while before you discover how golden they are. 08/25 [First added to this chart: 07/22/2022]

Very into Johnny at the moment. Live albums from back then were so different from what they became. All the little banter and nuances are left in. He's quite a legend. 02/25 [First added to this chart: 03/14/2025]

73.166* The title track is such a classic iconic song. All other tracks just have such a quintessential 60's sound to them and are not overly memorable. 09/25 [First added to this chart: 02/06/2025]
