These are the records that BEA member listened to the most in 2024. Compiled from the thread “What albums are you listening to? (cont.)”
There are about 16000 albums in the thread (after cleaning up for quotes etc.). The data basis is not bad but there were only 68 different users who contributed and actually not more than four or five users are responsible for half the posts. So this chart is not really a mirror of what people are listening to.
I decided to ignore albums that were listened to by only one user. Otherwise we would have even more Nick Cave albums in here. Saturnalia by the Gutter Twins would have been at number 11 with 23 listenings.
In the notes section you find the number of listenings and in parenthesis the number of different users. I had to leave out Kid A by Radiohead and Goats Head by the Rolling Stones at the end who both had also 12 listening by 5 users.
Nice to see Cure made the Chart with their new record and also Peter Gabriel. And finally my favorite record by Neil Young Comes A Time gets the recognition it deserves.
