Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. LOVE this chart! As a purist I'll always gravitate more towards the 60s picks, and although I think some more modern selections bend the Baroque-pop-o-meter a little I'm intrigued by some of your selections. Can't believe I've never come across the Sagitarrius LP before - streaming it now. A recommendation in return - Nick Garrie's "Nightmare of JB Stanislas". Based on your selections you're going to love it.

Really interesting chart. Gonna have to dig into the ones I'm not familiar with.
Have you heard Lost In the Trees? One of my favorite recent bands. They definitely fit the baroque pop sound happening here. Also worth checking out Friend Roulette
