Top 100 Greatest Music Albums ratings
Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:

AV = the site mean average rating.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 2% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 90.8/100, a mean average of 89.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.1/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 13.3.

Quite an interesting chart with a lot of different styles and a few artists not frequently seen on overall BEA charts like Crass, Morbid Angel, Napalm Death, The New Pornographers, Sonny Rollins, or Thelonious Monk.
One of the first charts I actually enjoyed on BEA, hope you're doing fine froggy, long time no see
Definitely different - but refreshingly so. Liked seeing an early 60's Dylan album in the mix.
Insane genre diversity on here, and this is one of the only charts that I've seen that doesn't have The Beatles, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd. All of those bands are great, but it's interesting to see others.
Reminds me I need to stick Suicide Invoice on my chart. John Reis & Rick Froberg are forces of nature.
I love seeing Feels so high up.
This is a nice chart, really well rounded.
diverse - will check some of these out.
If i knew you in real life, we would be bros
Just a magnificient chart, love it.
