"This is an album best used: As a superb background for a quiet lounging evening with your dream girl in a fine bar downtown NY. or in any other town you might want to be! Just so COOL.."  Reply

"Another fine Rod Stewart record. Gasoline alley, is not quite as consistent or as good as, every picture, but it features some fine songs. Only a hobo, cut across shorty and the title track are the pick of the bunch. Earthy, you can almost smell the smoke from the chimneys. Good stuff."  Reply

"Brilliant satanic rock/prog/folk masterpiece. Every track is outstanding, and then the final track, "Sacrifice", is one of the best rock tracks of all time. Probably needs several listens to really get into it."  Reply

"ohn Cale first solo album, originally released in 1970, came as a pleasant surprise to many fans of Velvet Underground. After his departure from V.U. in 1968 Cale had among other things produced for Nico, and some may have expected a more radical album, but here Cale reveals himself as a brillian..."  [+]  Reply

"For the Flying Burrito Brothers' second album Bernie Leadon ( Eagles ) replaced Etheridge and third former Byrds man, Michael Clarke, became a permanent drummer in the band. On this album the role of Gram Parsons seems to be less dominant than on the debut, and the album is often considered a rel..."  [+]  Reply
