There is the expected (and correct since loved by so many) but it also has a few surprises in there and probably more acknowledgement to pop and R&B than BEA. Missy Elliot, TLX, Lady Gaga, Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Kamasi Washington, Alice Coltrane, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z albums all feature in under 300 charts on this site. But the shocker for me is that there are only 18 albums since the 1990s - come on?

Jam packed full of classic albums but doesn’t really grab me. Too few surprises to keep me interested.

Can't agree with Purple Rain at number 1. Not many recent albums, not surprising. Dark Side at 29? Sorry that number 18 is unforgivable.
