"This album is like nothing I've ever heard before... every track is just fantastic, not a single filler, with this superbe gloomy atmosphere that permeates every second of it. It's quiet, dark and unpredictable in the way of using so many instruments together and in the way of songs' structure. A..." [+] Reply

"I'm no expert on soul music but my initial impression after listening to this a couple of times is that this is possibly the most powerful soul singing I've ever heard. It brings that gospel fervour to secular music and is so full of unbridled emotion it's incredible. I love the fact you can hear..." [+] Reply

"Phenomenal first half of the album, stylized electro pop perfectly executed with a great mix of voices and really interesting arangements, the second half is not as brilliant although it stills has a lot of class..." Reply

"Alice Cooper are (and is) my all time favourite band, and this is my favourite Alice Cooper album. I also wore out several copies of this album on vinyl. For me there isnt a track below 9/10 on this opus, I love it to death...so to speak !" Reply

"Enjoyably listenable pop. Tons of disco and soul influence on the writing and sound. Just a good modern take on that whole genre. Not innovative or avant garde, just really listenable." Reply

"The debut from Jack and Meg is a raw, stripped down, electric guitar and drum, in your face affair that plain kicks ass. And there's 17 tracks of it, none longer than 3:22. So even though the songs mostly have a similar feel to them, the album moves right along and keeps the energy going right th..." [+] Reply

"As much as I love Q-Tip and company, the crew at Tribe might be pansies compared to Pharcyde. Sometimes the lyrics here go a bit too far, but production-wise, I can't think of a better non-Kanye rap album. It's as jazzy as jazz-rap could be." Reply

"The first Roxy Music album after the departure of Brian Eno. Stranded, is an excellent record, it still retains that art-rock sound, although, in truth, is doesn't quite have that quirky edge that the first two Roxy LP's did. Still, there sure some superb tracks. Street life, is a brilliant opene..." [+] Reply

"Any doubts that they wouldn't recover from Isaac Woods departure are quickly squished with this fantastic live album. Definitely prefer the tracks with Mae Kershaw as the lead vocalist over the male vocalists. Not that Tyler Hyde's and Lewis Evan's vocals are inherently bad, just that with Mae sh..." [+] Reply
