"Well, the first (and my favorite) great quintet. Coltrane like hard learner of freedom in harmonies. Chambers, Garland and Joe Jones, the best rhythm section of history of jazz. Davis lyrical, masterful. What can I say?"  Reply

"I'm kinda obsessed. This is so good. Disarmingly honest lyrics about romantic relationships, queer awakenings and becoming your true self. On top of that, amazing hooks and her voice is excellent. Add to that some polished production, and you've got a really winning pop album"  Reply

"A album which was years ahead of its time when released in 1970. The sleeve notes (CD version) refer to the Moog Sythesizer 'unlike today's compact modules, this one looked like an old fashioned telephone operator's station with cables going in and out every direction', this would have been an ea..."  [+]  Reply

"Seems like a good starting point for Zappa. Really exceptional instrumentation, especially with the guitar and bass, and a healthy dose of the weird stuff that he was known for, but not so much that it's overbearing for a first-time listener. Great album."  Reply

"there are some amazing tracks. the thing is, is that there are SIXTEEN of them. you can't have a perfect album like "superunknown" when you have a few mediocre tracks bringing down what could have been soundgarden's masterpiece"  Reply

"When I purchased a copy of this album, I was a junior high kid, and it was not an easy album to understand. I could only buy one album a month back then (naturally), so I would listen to the album every day, and I could gradually digest the beauty (and aggressive nature) of the album over time. "McCartney's second best behind Ram. Not a bad song here, and most are quite exceptional. Best tracks are Tug of War, Take it Away, Here Today (best song off the album), Ballroom Dancing, The Pound is Sinking and Dress Me Up as a Robber. Proof that McCartney's 80s career wasn't a complete waste."  [+]  Reply
