"Highly underrated on this sight. I was surprised to see it ranked so low. For me this is easily in Bob’s top 5 albums. Positive Vibration, Roots, Rock, Reggae, Crazy Baldman, Who The Cap Fit, War and Rat Race are favs of mine." Reply

"Like Enya at her most harmonic, Sara Bareilles at her most melodic, Janelle Monae at her most musical. Amazing album." Reply

"One of the more 'acoustic' sounding affairs which quite rightly befits the album title. More folky than the progressive leanings of Thicks As A Brick and Aqualung. A fine album. Baker St Muse is the standout track for me, this has a more 'progressive' feel to it." Reply

"On 0(+> (unlike "diamonds and pearls"), it's like he invited the rest of his band into the creative mix for the whole album, and it not only shows, but elevates prince's game as well, giving the world prince's last great album. "An eclectic mix of musical genres (world music, free jazz, reggae/dub) performed on an eclectic mix of odd instruments, including traditional African and Asian percussion instruments. Very experimental music, but it's not entirely avant-garde as there is some structure to the songs provided by th..." [+] Reply

"A pretty good rollicking hard rock debut. Strutter is excellent, Nothin' to Lose and Deuce are very strong. The inclusion of Love Theme from Kiss remains a mystery as it almost kills the album with two tracks to go." Reply
