"Different from a lot of hip hop acts, this is an actual band with several musicians and vocalists, and as a result the album has a lot of interesting musical ideas with minimal samples. The lead singer and songwriter, known as Speech, is also the producer and he has gathered these ideas into a ve..." Reply

"Yeah, "Run the World" is absolutely god awful. I mean really, they can't have honestly thought that was a good idea. Thank god its at the end. However, outside of that massive misstep, this is easily one of the best pop albums of the past decade or so. "Countdown" and "1+1" are easily among her b..." Reply

"Much more straight forward pop structures but it still works. Would I Lie to You, There Must Be An Angel (Playing with My Heart), Sisters are Doing it For Themselves are among their best and classic work. The rest of the album brings much to the table as well." Reply

"Lovely background music. I really don't know how much credit to give to these electronica DJs. I have a friend who is working on his Phd in music. He writes brilliant symphonies, is a master of piano, guitar and plays other instruments. Seems to me to require a lot more talent than sampling recor..." Reply

"The concept and aesthetic of this album could of easily collapsed into a self-ingulgent pretension mess, but thankfully this is not the case. A truly terrifying and brutally sincere performance." Reply

"A seriously great collection of energetic and dirty sounding songs. The vocals and distorted instruments go so well together. I can't believe these guys aren't more talked about. This and their even better follow up are two of the best albums of the era. Each song on the album can stand on its ow..." Reply

"Noting this album appears on a couple of 2017 best listings ( NME & Pitchfork) I decided to take the plunge and check it out. First things first electronica is not in my wheel house yet I stuck it out and listened to the whole thing. There are some hot and heavy lesbian lyrics in here which again..." Reply
