"Not only best album of the year, but one of the best albums of the decade and of latin american music. Listening to this, the amazing music and emotional lyrics from poems by Pablo Neruda is breathtaking. You actually feel on top o Machu Picchu. Trascendental experience and really worth checking."  Reply

"Their first album as a rock quintet, with leader Arnaldo Baptista changing from bass to keyboards (Liminha, who in the next decade would become an important producer/studio owner, is the new bassist). Not prog rock yet (they were more creative and fun than most prog rock bands), but they started ..."  [+]  Reply

"IMO, this is the greatest hard rock debut album of all time. There is not a single bad track on the album; absolutely no filler. Ronnie Montrose is extremely under-rated as a guitar player. It angers me that this album is virtually forgotten by most people when discussing debut albums."  Reply

"Carly's big-picture album, the tracks are pretty seamlessly woven together making it her most atmospheric and sonically cohesive album to date. So why do I rarely feel elated while listening, or find myself humming any favorite tunes in particular? It's a worthy next-step artistically for Carly t..."  [+]  Reply

"Holy cow this is an awesome album. Not the Destroyer I'm used to. Much earlier sound, more like Velvet Underground meets indie rock? Somewhat Dylan plus some Bowie musically? Mountain Goats? Whatever it is, it's fantastic!"  Reply
