"I finally understood the purpose of this song; it's a satire of the futility of the blues, of bands that only did that. Pink Floyd, to represent the absence of ideas, put the dog to sing in that style of music, and it works well too." Reply
"A great debut from a band who strongly believes that punk is still relevant and shows it here and throughout the follow up. Nothing to Lose breaks my heart. There are at least eight great songs here, all together." Reply
"This is the first album I've listened to by Elza Soares (so far) and I like what I hear. Great voice and I really like the noisy instrumentals on this one. Looking forward to digging deeper!" Reply
"Glad that you enjoyed her, so influential..She reminds me a little of Rickie lee Jones (1979-present) who I am sure that you are familiar with although she is also not on this website. "Criminally underrated. Like if Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine had a lovechild." Reply
"After 2 run of the mill 90's alternative grunge albums, Neon Ballroom follows with and attempt to branch out. The album is uneven with melodic pop songs intermixed with rehashed grunge songs. I prefer the direction Silverchair is heading on songs like Emotion Sickness, Steam WIll Rise, Miss You L..." [+] Reply
"One of their best albums this has You Are The Government, Give You Nothing, Suffer and Do What You Want some of their most well known songs. It was their 1st comeback after disappearing in the mid 80s and set the tone for the rest of their work." Reply
"Another great summary and I 100 percent agree with it. I deliberated long and hard whether to include 'Chiastic Slide' or the equally brilliant 'Incunabula' in my chart. I eventually decided on the latter but tomorrow this could change." Reply
