"On this album, Lee Morgan begins the move beyond traditional hard bop, and has outstanding results. He is well supported by an all star ensemble including the incomparable Grant Green on guitar, Herbie Hancock on piano, and Wayne Shorter on sax. This is one of the all time great jazz statements."  Reply

"Fantastic country album. Don't know why this is so low rated. All good songs and 'Jolene' and 'I will always love you'. The latter so much better than the Whitney Houston version. A must have!"  Reply

"Check out the LongChain concept behind this album. The premise revolves around a sunken slave ship that crashes and the slaves live free lives underwater, hence slaves=waves. The production on a lot of songs has a crazy aquatic vibe and Lupe bounces off the beats effortlessly incorporating some o..."  [+]  Reply

"Badu really lets loose on this one. None of her earlier albums thump like this one. Easily her most hip-hop influenced work. You feel the confidence on this record. However, I find it a tad unfocused at times. While I enjoy the freedom, a little more control would greatly enhance the sound."  Reply

"A completely underrated and overlooked album. 9, Damien Rice's follow up to the excellent, O, is every bit as good as that record. It's predominately an acoustic LP but this time Rice adds electric instruments on some tracks and the album has a more challenging sound to it. Some great songs here ..."  [+]  Reply

"Los albums de caifanes y la barranca. Que fueron grandes aportaciones a la musica mundial en los 90s son una de las mejores recomendaciones que les puedo hacer a todos rockeros de este sitio."  Reply

"I think I like Atlas Sound even better than Deerhunter, but then I listen to Deerhunter and the opposite is true. Two great bands who prove to me that even when I reach my nineties there will almost still be great new bands out there to discover."  Reply
