Sci-Fi Lullabies
Compilation
"Very few bands, if any, have B-sides as strong as early suede. The first disk of Sci-Fi is as good, if not better, as suede and dog man star. I think if disk one had been released as a 3rd anderson/butler's suede album it would rank alot higher on the site. Disk two is pretty forgetable however"  Reply

"A very second degree album: the singer (Barney Sumner)seems happy not to sing very well, like he does in New Order. They use dance 80's synth that were already outdated back in 1991. All on purpose! Adding to that a few touches of guitars from Johnny Marr, a strong songwriting, and you get an alb..."  [+]  Reply

"Gojira's best album, a thundering beast of epic proportions. Slightly better than From Mars to Sirius due to a better focus with less repetition. Both albums make up there best to date though. The Art of Dying is one of the best progressive metal pieces these ears have ever heard."  Reply

"The one last shot at mass communication! Whether that will mean anything or not in years to come, what stands out from this album is the right royal noise the group make. The strings are out on 'It's Not War Just The End Of Love' providing a brilliant conclusion to the bitter euphoria 'Your Love ..."  [+]  Reply

"This is a great album. So good to see a band well into their career finding form and releasing an album that is worth listening to. Ordered the CD after streaming this. It has the classic Metallica sound, James has found his voice again. the album is a little long, bloating it a little. But I hav..."  [+]  Reply

"Much has been made of the the way JAMC changed their sound throughout their career. For me, there wasn’t as much variation as is often suggested - and that’s no bad thing. Their brand of bubblegum melodies wrapped in barbed wire feedback and guitars works brilliantly. This album is a gauzy ride w..."  [+]  Reply

"I love this album, I love all the Editors albums. Quite an underrated band I feel. This album is fresh and a return to their more rock sound they had on their first 2 albums. Sugar, The Weight, Hyena and Ton Of Love are my favourites. One of my very favourites of 2013."  Reply

"This is an album I absolutely love but wouldn’t openly admit it, a guilty pleasure, because America was a band that could do great singles but then do a song like Muskrat Love which was covered more successfully by Captain and Tennile and would warrant ridicule. However there is no denying this i..."  [+]  Reply
