"This music is something very hard to describe. It might seem difficult at first, but it's actually very intuitive: what you listen to is exactly what you get. That's it."  Reply

"Widely canned at the time for venturing boldly into Romanelli territory & not being Days of .. II, Medicine Show is actually a fascinating listen with totally sick guitar leads and a wide open & raucous sound that holds it own. I prefer Days of Wine & Roses, but damn isn't repeat listens to this ..."  [+]  Reply

"Duran Duran at their darkest best The reason the teeny fans in the 80's did not get this masterpiece is that they wanted another "her name is Rio and she dances on the sand" however if the had listened to the rest of Rio, past the title track and "save a prayer" they would have found some pretty ..."  [+]  Reply

"It's a second-rate "Quarry" sequel. I think disappointment as a career-rebound-followup is what sunk this into my memory recesses. But it's a fun, Morissey tongue-in-cheek album. He doesn't sound as passionate about his work this time around, like this is a cover for a headlining tour or a way to..."  [+]  Reply

"Upbeat and poppy, though in a different direction than pre-Michael McDonald Doobies records. I like the older albums better, but there’s still great stuff here—mostly Here to Love You, What a Fool Believes and How Do the Fools Survive. Solid collection of songs."  Reply

"This along with Albert Hammond Jr.'s albums gives me hope that even if the Strokes eventually splinter apart there will still be good music to be had from them. This is a very good album that is up there in quality with the strokes' work."  Reply
