"Finally found a Russian band I can relate to. I grew up on Soviet folk songs and the CRINGY Russian blues-rock that is Grigory Leps, and have always felt an apprehension towards any Russian music as a result. This art-folk, experimental, prog rock album broke down a lot of this for me. Great listen."  Reply

"This album is completely underrated in the VM canon and has some very poorly thought out out ratings here. Go back and listen again, people! Spanish Steps opens the album... leading into The Mystery which can be thought of as Van's mature revisitation of Into the Mystic. Queen of the Slipstream i..."  [+]  Reply

"Good Lord! This was the biggest shock for me on this site: seeing how underrated and obscure this musician/poet is. For so many of my friends here in South Africa this guy was huge. Bigger than Bob Marley. Here's a story to demonstrate just how much he meant to so many White lefties in SA: My fri..."  [+]  Reply

"Los albums de caifanes y la barranca. Que fueron grandes aportaciones a la musica mundial en los 90s son una de las mejores recomendaciones que les puedo hacer a todos rockeros de este sitio."  Reply

"This album is better than the eponymously title release in some ways - the production is beefier in the guitar area, which suits such songs like Hot Blooded, Double Vision and Lonely Children. However, it isn't quite as consistent as their predecessor as You're All I Am and I Have Waited So Long ..."  [+]  Reply

"Incredible indie pop album from the early 80s that still stands up today. Unfortunately it seems this record is really overlooked; many songs are immediately catchy and unique for the time. Admittedly, the ending few songs don't speak to me much, but this album caught me off guard with how fun it..."  [+]  Reply

"This was significantly better than I expected. It's pop rap so I expect it to be thoroughly panned by this community which is fine. That's ok. Lil Nas X will keep doing his thing. It's fun, it's honest, it's relatable. There's some childish gambino vibes, there's some chance the rapper vibes, the..."  [+]  Reply

"Love & Rockets is made up of all of the former members of Bauhaus except for lead singer Peter Murphy. Generally Daniel Ash took over vocals though David J sings at times. If anyone worried whether they'd still be creative, this album laid those worries to rest. Express is one of the best post pu..."  [+]  Reply
