"This album is one of my top 100 albums and it contains a classic opening salvo of three killer tracks: "Dream All Day", "Solar Sister" and " Flavor of the Month" (with the classic chorus: "The flavor of the month is busy melting in my mouth, getting easier to swallow but harder to spit out")."  Reply

"Oh my goodness, this album is amazing. It sounds so detached and distant, like floating on the edge of the universe. Yet there is something so beautiful and haunting about how mysterious and indifferent it feels to hear it. Appropriately titled "The Absent Universe". One of the greatest albums ev..."  [+]  Reply

"Relatively overlooked in his catalogue, this is one of Coltrane's most meditative and lyrical records. "Wise One" and "Lonnie's Lament" are two of the most beautiful jazz songs ever recorded. I always feel at peace listening to this album."  Reply

"This is a fairly unique album in Phish's discography. It's much more jammy and less song-oriented. If you're into that aspect of Phish, then this may be the album for you, but if you'd prefer to hear better songs with more structure then check out Rift or A Picture Of Nectar."  Reply
