"For Those Who Love to Live," "Suicide," "Wild One," "Spirit Slips Away" and the amazing "Freedom S..."  [+]  Reply

"Laura Nyro should be more widely appreciated - she did not produce one but string of great albums in the late 60s Her vocal gymnastics sometimes go to far but that's what makes her always differnt and always interseting"  Reply

"This album is an absolutely phenomenal effort from a band that has become one of my absolute favorite bands around today. Few bands to me have the musical and lyrical ability that The Avett Brothers to. They can write a catchy song that you’ll be singing for days and you’ll never even realize tha..."  [+]  Reply

"Despite what sp4cetiger says, there are indeed ways around the Laws of Thermodynamics. Just ask Seefeel who developed their own perpetual motion machine with Quique. Which makes it the album to beat for post-midnight, no one else on the highway, road tripping music when you need to sleep NOW but ..."  [+]  Reply

"I find soundtracks are usually not very good albums, but this one is an exception. He released two good albums in one year (and they were both pretty much double albums). Very impressive. Highlights are Silent Sigh, Minor Incident (great song) and Something To Talk About."  Reply

"For some reason, this is one of the best Mars Volta albums in my opinion. Noctourniquet is the best song from this album. Other standout tracks are Aegis, Malkin Jewel, Empty Vessels, Zed and Two Naughts. If people would stop comparing every album Mars Volta have released to Deloused or Frances t..."  [+]  Reply

"Aimee’s first solo record is lesser known than her later work, but, in terms of quality and consistency, I think it’s her second best (behind I’m With Stupid). High quality pop across the board, with the best songs the lovely ballad, “4th of July,” and the rockers “I Could Hurt You Now” and “Say ..."  [+]  Reply

"Once again, Paul Simon shows that he is almost peerless as an artist. As he ages, he has not stopped making music that challenges him and his audience. He continues to be creative rather than fall back on tried and true formulas to just keep busy or make money. Who else has put out albums in thei..."  [+]  Reply
