"My latest discovery, found thanks to BEA. The most amazing blend of styles I ever heard. Heavy metal drumming, guitar work sometimes reminding of Muse or Tool or something else totally. Horns that are perfect in the swing big band mode. And the singing is the most unique element of this band ... ..."  [+]  Reply

"Techno with layers and substance. The best is when it gets into a nice groove with the excellent beats, particularly in the middle of the album. Opener "Forever" is another highlight, and I liked the beats and the weird male opera singer on closer "Attached". Along the way there are some tracks t..."  [+]  Reply

"Their first album might be better overall, but it doesn't have "Blanch comme la neige/Perrine etait servante"..It is one of my most favorite album tracks of any genre, partly in french based on a 16th century tune, but perfectly arranged and captures a mood that I have never heard outsi..."  [+]  Reply

"The ultimate travesty is that this band is remembered for one song (Sex and Candy). When their entire debut is made up of whimsical stories and memorable songs from the wonderful mind of John Wozniak, who is a criminally underrated songwriter. This album deserves multiple listens and respect."  Reply

"Super underrated. This is like that Styx album that was supposed to be a rock opera, but executed well. Yes, Video Killed the Radio Star is the obvious standout track, but there's not really a bad song on here and the synthesizer stuff is really cool. Sad that this seemingly fell by the wayside a..."  [+]  Reply

Soundtrack
"A superb soundtrack album. Certainly better than the film, although it is fun, but the music is superb. Textured and atmospheric it drips New York with just the right amount of attitude. The title track is brilliantly humourus and the epic Do your thing is absolutely jaw dropping. One of the best..."  [+]  Reply
