The proper version was not released in the States until ABKCO tacked it on to a compilation album with their release of the SA..."  [+]  Reply

"Aimee’s first solo record is lesser known than her later work, but, in terms of quality and consistency, I think it’s her second best (behind I’m With Stupid). High quality pop across the board, with the best songs the lovely ballad, “4th of July,” and the rockers “I Could Hurt You Now” and “Say ..."  [+]  Reply

"Laura Nyro should be more widely appreciated - she did not produce one but string of great albums in the late 60s Her vocal gymnastics sometimes go to far but that's what makes her always differnt and always interseting"  Reply

"This is a really fun sounding album that fuzes together many different musical genres including hip-hop, reggae, and pop. As someone already mentioned, it does sound a lot like early TV on the Radio"  Reply

"A surprising masterpiece. The most consistent and meaningful album of 2015 for me. Hypnotic minimalism, an ambient soundtrack on live instruments, beautiful and somehow sinister."  Reply
