"Very good comedy rock/comedy rap/alternative rock/dance-pop/rap rock album. Best 10 songs average is 91,7/100 and the album can get very good 90/100. Best songs are "The ballad of Chasey Lane", "The bad touch" and "Along comes Mary" all 95/100, followed by "The inevitable return of the great whit..."  [+]  Reply

"Really interesting and entertaining. I like how chaotic the first half of the album is especially during "Trail of the Smiling Sphinx". I don't know how some of the sounds are made but they contribute to a hellishness that I found very compelling. There is something that sounds like a pig in the ..."  [+]  Reply

"This album does not age because it is timeless, it continues to be inspiring for all those who truly love good music, unfortunately there are music consumers, those who are driven by trends and do not know how to evaluate a job with the depth that should be done, the groove in "Listen to the Musi..."  [+]  Reply

"This was a very interesting album. If you’re a fan of Yeasayer or Of Montreal or Passion Pit, you’ll probably like these guys. A very cool electronic sound with some interesting songs. Very good arrangements, some instrumental tracks that are good, some with singing, it’s a pretty good album. One..."  [+]  Reply

"Yeah only sounds like half a Torres album, the other half some producer know-nothings trying to turn her into St Vincent. The airy, pontificating art pop sound really doesn't suit her, but when TF finally lets loose a little it does have it's exciting moments (the breif but brutal Helen in the Wo..."  [+]  Reply

"Don't let the condensed tracklisting fool you, this album picks up where I Am Not Afraid of You left off and is just as sprawling. With songs veering in almost every direction the band has ever explored, Popular Songs is coming from a band oozing with confidence in who they are as a band. Highlig..."  [+]  Reply

"So far in my first listen to Thin Lizzy's discography, this is short of Jailbreak, but not by much. Loved this record, I still don't get how they weren't one of the biggest rock bands in the world. "For Those Who Love to Live," "Suicide," "Wild One," "Spirit Slips Away" and the amazing "Freedom S..."  [+]  Reply

"Laura Nyro should be more widely appreciated - she did not produce one but string of great albums in the late 60s Her vocal gymnastics sometimes go to far but that's what makes her always differnt and always interseting"  Reply

"So many of these songs sound better here because many of Leonard's studio works suffer from poor to average production. This album just sounds so good and the songs really take on a life of their own. The arrangements are superb. Favorite tracks "Dance Me To The End Of Love", "The Future", "Ain't..."  [+]  Reply
