"Brilliant album. Production wise, it was a clear step up on Actual Fantasy. Possibly the only criticism is that at 104 minutes it goes on a little too long. And it is not really an album that one can pick and choose tracks as there is commentary in between." Reply

"Denim and Leather is an anthem filled album. It's hard to say which tracks are the best but if I had to pick I'd say Princess of the Night, And the Bands Played On, and Denim and Leather. The whole album is worth a listen though." Reply

"Something For Kate will be remembered if only for 'Monsters' from this album. But the album has a lot to offer and was one album I listened to constantly after its intial release. My all-time favourite Aus album." Reply

"The movie and the soundtrack are both phenomenal. However I have an odd qualm about them when they're combined (which I guess... is just the movie): almost every single song could be removed from the movie and the plot would remain the same. "You can't really go softer and gentler than this LP. Superb songs. Electric Guitars is a nostalgic reflexion on the Beatles: "We were songbirds, we were Greek Gods, We were singled out by fate, We were quoted out of context - it was great"." Reply

"The girl talk albums, like 2006's night ripper, are difficult to critique. The guy just uses a computer and music samples from a wide array of pop to create new song (mixes). (i guess there are a few drum fills.) Then there's the choice of samples, here theres a bunch of 90s/00s hip hop with 70s/..." [+] Reply
