"Whenever I think of this album, I remember listening to this on my Sony Walkman, doing my dumbbell reps and my dad coming in my room telling me the gulf war had started. "One of the greatest improvisational jams ever recorded. Just 3 songs, pretty basic rhythms and harmonies that let Eric Dolphy do some of his better moves. The solos are crazy and the comping by Mal Waldron is something to behold. Ed Blackweel is as solid as ever." Reply
