"One of the top Canadian solo artists! This album was written back when he was known as Matthew Good Band, and is probably their best album until the band broke up in 2001. From start to finish, this album is a knockout, starting with the smash hit openers Giant, Hello Time Bomb, Strange Days, the..."  [+]  Reply

"This is straight on Neil Young, trying to recapture the '60's. The fact that he does so to a degree still tells you a lot. These are by and large simple (and even simplistic, on Let's Impeach) but Families and Flags of Freedom are just as gorgeous (if not possibly as fresh) as classic Neil."  Reply

"I adored Chat Pile's first few EPs at the end of the last decade, but their widely-acclaimed 2022 debut God's Country was a little stale for me, as they lost their early urgency with some unadventurous instrumental work. Not so here; the band's songwriting is brilliantly intoxicating, as nightmar..."  [+]  Reply

"Having just passed the 10th anniversary of Mitski’s self released debut and revel in the glory of her album number six and Mitski’s elevation to one of our times most important composers its timely to go back and remember where it all began. Its quite clear from the get go that the trademark Mits..."  [+]  Reply

"A great album all the way around from an underrated band. This album perfectly straddles the line between their next two albums, Dance or Die and III. Love Addict is what originally drew me in, but (among a banger set of tracks) is almost an afterthought among many other tracks I have come to ado..."  [+]  Reply
