"I may need to give this more time, but right now, it's a bit underwhelming. And look, following up Psychic--an album whose greatness has only become clearer with time--was always going to be a daunting, if not insurmountable task. But setting aside how it stacks up to its predecessor, Spiral is a..."  [+]  Reply

"An album very much of it's time sonically, electronics and sound effects. Vocals aren't great but that's not really the point I suppose. E=mc2 is a great track, the rest are OK. Not bad, for an old fella like me it helps recall the 80's but probably not likely to set anyone elses pulse racing."  Reply

"Slow-core at its best. This is actually quite heavy, the distortion is loud and the lyrics tender. The lead singer sings on Wird: "I wanna walk/But I have to crawl", and I guess that sums up Codeine's music as well. They could play fast and aggressive, but instead they tone it down and plays in a..."  [+]  Reply

"So my copy of Peasant on vinyl arrived the other day, it's pretty cool – I really like Dawson and it's nice to have a slice of him in my collection. This one ain't getting in though, it's his weakest project in a while. The whole trilogy idea was always a pretty stale threadbare linking of his pr..."  [+]  Reply

"Great soundtrack from a great movie. I get goose bumps whenever I think if that story. Fav songs: Sugar Man, Crucify Your Mind, Cause, Can't Get Away, I Think Of You and I'll Slip Away"  Reply
