"As usual, Saint Etienne's pop is very well produced and structured, and "Good Humor" is no exception to this. This record is filled to the brim with very good tracks with a more lounge-y influence and less alternative dance, but if there's a flaw, it's that nothing here is truly exceptional. "Compared to his '70's output it really is hard to believe its the same artist, Blue Jean was a good lead off single, & Loving The Alien is vintage Bowie, but the rest is not worthy of his name."  Reply

"I’d agree with other comments. The songs don’t benefit from this format and it’s all a bit blah. I saw her play live with a band at the start of her career. It was a day festival with Bob Dylan and The Who as the headline acts. Never heard of her until then but remember thinking that she had a fu..."  [+]  Reply

"Really enjoyed it, and i feel Marvin is severly underrated on this side. Heard it through the Grapevine is great, but i also loved the opener "You". This is his first album where we can hear the sound of his Magnum Opus "What's Going On", and i recommend it to anyone who enjoys Soul"  Reply

"The most controversial song on the album and D.A.F.'s breakthrough hit is Der Mussolini and yep, you guessed it, the song is about Benito Mussolini. and it is histerical. It's the most original song ever, Rather than a political song about what an evil person Mussolini was, it has nothing to poli..."  [+]  Reply
