"Unfortunately most people only see it as "the album that followed Private Dancer" and while Typical Male was a huge hit, nothing else on it approached the same sort of success that the previous album did. But I've always enjoyed the album and think it's almost equal to the predecessor."  Reply

"Another good Eels album although it frustrates me slightly with two of my least favourite tracks Lone Wolf and Agony. I think it would have been better without them. Flipside is it has some great tracks which could have, or in the case of Saturday Morning, should have, been commercial successes. ..."  [+]  Reply

"Actually, for many persons i know, one of the masterpieces of rock; frankly i do not considerate it like this, and most of all, i even could considerate this as the best album from Colosseum, but not big difference with the others. Anyway, for proto hard rock and prog lovers, cannot be missed."  Reply
