"I don't remember why I decided to check this out. I've never been a massive fan of Moufang's stuff, and I certainly had no idea who Benjamin Brunn was at the time. The artwork looks like a bad Four Tet album cover, re-imagined through the eyes of the author of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. The al..."  [+]  Reply

"Definitely next level for the Bill Evans Trio. The piano playing is the perfect combination of fast and slow, loud and soft. The bass playing is among the best I've ever heard and the drumming keeps everyone together. A worthy addition to any Jazz collection. "Elsa" and "Nardis" are highlights of..."  [+]  Reply

"Kinda disappointing set list, plus songs like Down by the River and Cowgirl in the Sand are already filled with long guitar solos, no need for a 16 min version. That being said it's still NY and CH so can't complain too much."  Reply

"The music is as odd as its title. I only own one other Mars Volta album, Octahedron on CD. I wanted one on vinyl and bought this. It is rare that I buy an album which I don’t really connect with. Despite a few listens, I can’t really get into it. It’s at times totally disconnected and at times ma..."  [+]  Reply

"The new nine inch nails album sounds like it continues where "The Fragile" left off. So does this album. However, if you want to hear what the new nine inch nails album could've been under an alternate reality where the tracks donned less keyboards and were less like dance tracks and more like th..."  [+]  Reply
