"Discovered because I like The Divine Comedy and Pugwash, when I heard of the collaboration between the two principle leaders of these bands due to their interest in ELO and cricket...I was all in. Wasn't expecting an album that superseded the work of their primary bands and ELO! Strongly recommen..."  [+]  Reply

"Crimson Glory are about the only band to produce two consistent high quality albums in the 1980s. And while they might sing songs about communism and dragons, which now sounds a bit silly, the production work is top notch and the melodies wonderful. Shame they weren't able to maintain the momentu..."  [+]  Reply

"This album, as well as their self titled, are incredibly underrated in my opinion. I'm seriously in love with their sound. Just a shame about the fact that the single, "New Song" is such a pile of meh."  Reply

"Somehow produced in 1988, it foresaw the stoner rock movement of the 90s while reviving the Cream feel. A very solid album. Here you see the band of the architect / producer of the Kyuss / Queens of the Stone Age group of bands."  Reply

"The very unmistakable sound of Pat Metheny projects a feeling of warmth and happiness through a mixture of different musical styles including soft rock and free form jazz encompassing Latin American influences. "There are some cool folktronica sounds here, as explored on Bon Iver's "22, A Million." However, while that album is one of my all time favorites, the songs on this one seem much more repetitive and generic. The songs kinda do the same thing for 3 to 5 minutes and then end. Still enjoyable, but n..."  [+]  Reply

"If this was just a regular album I wouldn't give it a particularly good rating, but as a parody of all the tired cliches in 70s and 80s rock music it works brilliantly (especially with how hilariously stupid some of the lyrics are) You'd need to watch the film first though before listening to thi..."  [+]  Reply
